Agi's Story

Agi on her Uncle Paul (extract from Agi's Story)

Samuel and Gisela survived the War but had lost their son Paul in Mauthausen, the concentration camp... Once I asked my Uncle Paul, who was very scholarly, “if God is in charge of everything, how come bad things are happening to  good people.  Why are there bad people?”  If God is so powerful, He could solve a lot of problems for the living.  I thought.  I do not remember what his answer was but he tried to give me one.
